This year has been another busy one for us, with our clinical team reviewing 1016 patient cases and 2998 calls coming through our helpline. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most serious common complication of hepatitis B (HBV). International data suggests a lifetime risk of about 15 percent, and this increases with age.
